David Weisman. He charges $1000 an hour. He'll want a $50,000 retainer fee. You did say you wanted the best, right.

lol, ok, I'll be serious now.

First off, I'd like to point out to you that you complain about arguing in front of the kid. But it's you that brought up a subject that you should have known it would be a problem. If you want to discuss it when the kid is not around, then bring it up when the kid is not around.

I'm not just being picky here. I bring this up because I think it points to the real problem. The real problem here is you and your attitude towards the father. The child is taking his cues from you. Your uncomfortable and upset when the father comes, so naturally the boy is scared.

I usually have a sense of these things. Yes, the father gets an attitude. But your also getting an attitude. Both the father and son are responding to YOUR anger. I bet you have some good reasons for being angry. Maybe it was a bad breakup or a court battle over custody.

I really think the root of the problem here is your anger. And I don't think there's going to be any kind of solution that doesn't involve you dealing with your anger.

There are a number of ways to deal with anger. If your seeing a counselor talk to them. Or you can do a web search. Search "How to deal with anger".

Write thing down. There's something about writing it out that lets you get the feeling out.

You don't have enough to make it worth you time to go to court. You have no proof that the father has done anything wrong. It's only your feelings. A judge is going to need proof.

Just as an example, let's turn this around. What if it was the father making these claims. The father says, every time I take the child back to his mother, he cries and doesn't want to go back. Do you think that's enough for him to go to court and deny you custody?

This is something that you need to settle out side of court. Instead of getting a lawyer, I think you should talk to the father. Not accuse him, but rather talk to him.

If your seeing a counselor, your counselor can help you with this conversation. Your counselor can even be their during the conversation.

I really don't think there's anything a lawyer or a court can do to help you.
